A painter working mainly in oils.Many paintings have strong links with music where the aim is not primarily to illustrate but to find pictorial equivalents to the musical language.Composers that have influenced work include Charles Ives (who is a major influence),Berg, Tippett,Nielsen and Delius. There is work in Canary Wharf (which was the result of a commission) and Gateshead Council have four paintings in their collection. Paintings are also in private collections in Spain, France and the UK.
