About: Alysia Anne is a NJ-born multi-media artist currently studying her Masters in Fine Art at Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Statement: I tentatively interrogate the impossibility of silence and conscious death, drawing on experiences of amnesia and questions of Nothingness. Using photographic methods, I examine these notions by obscuring and distorting the lens to create scenes of confusion, rendering details unrecognisable to the viewer.
